SOLA Studio Pilates Waiver & Liability Agreement

At SOLA Studio Pilates, your safety is our priority. By participating in classes, workshops, private sessions, or other services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Client Responsibility

Medical Conditions

  1. Clients must disclose injuries, pregnancy, surgeries, illnesses, pain, and medical conditions before every class.

  2. If a Client chooses to participate without disclosure or continues exercising despite pain, symptoms, or medical concerns, the Client assumes all responsibility

    and releases SOLA Studio Pilates and Mar y Sol Wellness LLC to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  3. Pilates and fitness activities involve physical exertion and risk of injury.

  4. Clients are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare provider before participating if they are pregnant, postpartum, injured, recovering from surgery, managing

    a medical condition, taking medication affecting movement, or unsure whether exercise is appropriate.

  5. Clients must disclose relevant limitations, injuries, pregnancy, postpartum status, medical restrictions, dizziness, pain, or discomfort before and during class.

  6. Clients must stop immediately and notify the instructor if they feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, faintness, numbness, unusual symptoms, or unsafe discomfort.

  7. SOLA instructors do not diagnose, prescribe medical treatment, provide physical therapy, or replace medical advice.

Pregnancy and medical clearance

Pregnant and postpartum Clients participate at their own risk. SOLA recommends physician clearance before participating in MAT or Reformer classes.

1. SOLA Studio Pilates reserves the right to require written medical clearance before allowing participation or continued participation whenever, in SOLA Studio Pilates' reasonable judgment, a Client's medical condition or safety may warrant additional medical approval.

2. Clients are responsible for following provider restrictions and notifying SOLA of changes in health status. SOLA may recommend a private session, modification, pause, or medical clearance before continued participation



Assumption of risk and release

  1. The instructor may stop or modify exercises at any time for safety.

  2. The Client agrees to use all equipment only as instructed.

  3. The Client is responsible for personal belongings.

  4. The Client understands that Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, jump board , strength, mobility, stretching, balance, and related movement activities involve inherent risks, including falls, slips, muscle injuries, joint injuries, fractures, equipment-related injuries, aggravation of existing conditions, cardiovascular events, and other physical activity risks.

  5. The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.

  6. To the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law, the Client releases SOLA Studio Pilates (DBA), Mar y Sol Wellness LLC, owners, members, managers, employees, independent contractors (including 1099 instructors), volunteers, representatives, successors, and assigns from claims arising out of participation in SOLA services, except where release is not permitted by law.

Emergency medical authorization

  1. If a medical emergency occurs, the client authorizes SOLA Studio Pilates to call 911 and obtain emergency assistance.

  2. The client understands that SOLA does not provide medical care and that emergency responders and healthcare providers are independent of SOLA. The client is responsible for medical costs incurred.
